Cancellations Policy

Cancellation of Healing or Therapy Session: Please contact us at [email protected] to cancel a scheduled healing or therapy session as soon as possible. Sessions cancelled less than 24 before the scheduled date will require full payment.

Cancellation by you

UK Retreats, Workshops & Courses:
Should you wish to cancel a retreat, workshop or training course that you have booked, the person who booked must contact us immediately in writing [email protected]. In all cases, Vanessa will retain the non-refundable deposit taken at the time of booking. If cancellation is less than ten weeks before the start date of your booked retreat, workshop or course, there will be no refund.

Cancellation by you
Indian Retreats:
There is a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the final price you pay for your place on the retreat. Cancellations four months to ten weeks: 75% non-refundable, cancellations within ten weeks of the date: 100% non-refundable.

Cancellation by us: If Vanessa has to cancel a retreat/workshop/course or rearrange dates, you will be offered to transfer to the new dates. If you cannot attend the new dates then you will be offered a full refund for all the remaining days of your course or workshop.
In the unlikely extreme circumstance that Vanessa has to cancel a retreat, Vanessa will refund the full amount of the retreat costs only. Costs associated to flights, transfers, or any other costs incurred to you are not the responsibility of Vanessa and will not be refunded. (We strongly suggest that you acquire travel insurance to cover any situation that may arise, such as change of ticket dates, sickness, family, etc.)
An exception to Vanessa being held liable for a cancellation, is when an ‘act of God’ or ‘Force Majeure’, such as extreme weather conditions; a tsunami, an international emergency, or other uncontrollable unforeseen incidents, but not limited to, have happened. ’Vanessa Tucker cannot be held liable or responsible for circumstances beyond its control such as an ‘act of god’ or ‘Force Majeure’.

Returns Policy
We accept items back if in saleable condition and in original undamaged packaging at our discretion if returned within 14 days of purchase. If this is authorised for a full refund of the goods. shipping costs incurred by you in the original transaction and the fees incurred in your returning them to us are non- refundable.

Refunds Policy
Your refund will either be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card for faulty items or for orders cancelled under the Distance Selling Regulations only.
Sales taxes incurred outside of the UK are not refundable. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly. As this may not be available for all countries, we recommend that you hire a customs broker if you wish to claim back duties on returned merchandise.
Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.

Cancelling your order
If you are based in the EU under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations (DSRs), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days of receipt. In order to do so:

  1. You must notify customer care in writing of your wish to cancel the contract. Either email [email protected] or write to us at: Notice of Contract Cancellation, Vanessa Tucker Designs, 1 Fore street, Bere Alston, Yelverton PL20 7AA.
    2. We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them at our warehouse. We also recommend that you use a secure, trackable means to return your order to us at Vanessa Tucker Designs, 1 Fore street, Bere Alston, Yelverton PL20 7AA, and that you retain proof of sending, in case of a dispute.
    3. Please note that you must cover the cost of the return shipment.
    4. All items must be returned unused, in their original condition and from the country that the order was delivered to.
    5. We will refund the full value of your order within 30 days of receiving your notice of contract cancellation. If we do not receive the cancelled order, we will arrange to have it collected from you at your cost. 
    6. We will not refund shipping costs.

 Please note you may only use your right to cancel the order under the DSRs if you give us formal written notice of cancellation any time after your order has been placed, up until 14 working days after receipt as described above.
Please note that the Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to items that have been specifically manufactured to order on behalf of a client. In these cases, bespoke items are not returnable.

Damaged Returns
All products leave our premises in perfect condition. The customer must notify the carrier (or postman) of even the slightest trace of damage (holes, signs of crushing, etc.) to the parcel, and refuse the package if necessary.
No exchanges can be made at a later time for goods claiming to be damaged during carriage without notification at the time of delivery.
As with any shipment, a delay or loss of goods is possible. In such a case, the carrier shall start an investigation. Every effort is made, for as long as necessary, to find the package. If the package is not found, the carrier will reimburse, who will where possible deliver a new, identical package to the customer free of charge.
We shall not be held responsible for delayed delivery times due to the carrier, including for the loss of goods, bad weather or strikes or ‘acts of god’.

Loss or Damage in Transit will not be responsible for damage or loss of goods or part thereof in transit or for any discrepancy between the goods delivered and the goods ordered unless the customer gives written or email notice of a claim to and the carrier within three (3) business days of delivery.
In the event of damage of goods or part thereof in transit or for any discrepancy between the goods delivered and the goods ordered, the customer must hold the goods and make them available for inspection or collection by or its representatives on request.

If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, we suggest that you return it for a refund and purchase the new piece separately. Simply contact [email protected] within 14 working days of receiving your order, (including your order number in the subject of your email.)
Please note that items that have been specifically manufactured to order on behalf of a client cannot be exchanged or returned.
Due to hygiene reasons, earrings can only be exchanged or returned if unworn.

Late returns
Your item(s) should be sent back to us within 28 days. Returns outside these timeframes may be accepted at the discretion of Vanessa Tucker Designs and may only be refunded as a store credit.

Our policy
Items should be returned new, unused, and in the original packaging. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
Where provided, all packaging such as bags and tags should be included with your return.
Please note that items that have been specifically manufactured to order on behalf of a client cannot be exchanged or returned.

Faulty goods
The customer is expressly informed that where Vanessa Tucker is not the manufacturer of the goods presented on that Vanessa Tucker shall not be held liable for defective goods.
Where Vanessa Tucker is the manufacturer of the goods presented on Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be repaired or replaced.
All products that have been modified or repaired by the customer or any other party not chosen by are not covered by this warranty. For all faulty items outside of our Returns Policy, please contact [email protected]

Monitor Screens & Colour Descriptions
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be completely accurate.

Right to Withdrawal
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, the customer has the right to a cooling off period of seven (7) business days, starting at the time goods are received, to cancel the contract and return said goods at their own expense, without having to give a reason.
The cooling off period and right to cancel do not apply to contracts, orders for any goods made to your specification, any downloaded goods or unsealed goods including but not limited to (DVD, CD, Tapes, Software, Video and audio).
Only complete and unused goods in perfect condition for resale will be accepted. No refunds or exchanges will be made for incomplete, damaged or unsealed goods, including damage to original packaging. The customer can exercise this right to withdrawal without penalty, excepting the return fee for the goods. If the customer exercises the right to withdrawal, they have the option of requesting a full refund or exchange of goods. If an exchange is requested, all shipping expenses shall be the responsibility of the customer.
If the right to withdrawal is exercised, Vanessa Tucker Designs will make every effort to refund the customer within 30 days.

All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before they are dispatched to customers. Should you receive an item that is not in perfect condition please contact us immediately.
Please send all items you wish to return from an order in the same shipment to ensure your return is processed as quickly as possible.
Items should be returned in their original packaging to ensure they are adequately protected in transit.
