Somatic Movement Therapy is a gentle, body-centred approach to healing that focuses on reconnecting with the body’s innate wisdom and intelligence to restore balance and well-being.
These six sessions are designed to help regulate your nervous system and bring a sense of calm and ease to your body and mind. They’re suitable for all bodies and invite you to follow your body’s wisdom, moving at your own pace, with comfort and care.
What to Expect:
Each session is intentionally slow-paced and may include:
- Movement meditations
- Breath awareness
- Sensory awareness
- Movement repatterning
- Accessing the imaginal realm
- Soft-tissue rolling
- Movement improvisation

Join Vanessa, ISMETA registered Somatic Movement & Dance Therapist, for a set of six weekly Somatic Movement sessions in Tavistock.
Where: UFC Church, Russell Street Tavistock.
When: Every Thursday Morning
Dates: March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, April 3rd, 10th 2025
Time: 10:30 am – 12 noon
Investment: £90 when you book a Block of six sessions (£15 per session) or £20 each drop-in session
